Dear Chapter Members,
Greetings to all the chapter members. Year 2016 also happens to be the 15th year of inception of the chapter. We have a host of events planned for the year to make it a memorable one. The regional conference “GyanLahari PM Conference” is planned for 16th July. We are making plans to make it more successful than the one we had conducted last year. I am sure most of you will be eagerly waiting for the conference communication. We will be sending across the first of the communication in the first week of May.
Want to take an opportunity to remind you about the host of webinars conducted by PMI which should provide an opportunity to hear from experts. We continue to conduct networking meetings which have very good participation from members. Extending the invitation for the others who have missed out on these opportunities.
We started the year on a positive note with the successful completion of the elections to the chapter board positions. We had good response to the election notification and were successful in having 5 new faces elected to the board. Through the newsletter, intend to welcome Ms. Poonam S, Mr. Kondal Rao, Mr. Srikanth, Mr. Diwakar and Mr. Suresh Kavali to the board. I also want to thank the past board members whose tenure got completed this March namely Mr. Srinivas Kopparapu, Sangita Zhaparde, Mr. Tony Jacob and Mr. Gajanan. We are working to make sure that these members’ services are available to us even though they have formally moved out of the board.
Want to end my message with a condolence message about our past president Mr. Suresh Chandra who is one of the founder member of PMIPCC. He has served as president of the chapter before he moved to take up board position in PMIEF. This year he was elected to be the chair of PMIEF board. His tenure didn’t last long as he is no more with us. Let’s hope we will have the will to focus on the wishes that Suresh was always speaking about to take the chapter to higher levels.
President – PMIPCC
